great location... beautiful hotel and well trained staff

The hotel is a beautiful hotel, located next to the main street but a bit further away from the "old city". Room (305) was enormous and always clean. The staff is really lovely and housekeeping are very nice. Breakfast was excellent and plenty to pick from. Next door there is a family bakery and minimarket . Great spa included in the price that includes a jacuzzi and sauna. Wednsday evening there is a wine and chesse tasting event which was very nice and tasty. In the bathroom is a toilet, shower AND bathtub.. In my opinion the bathtub should have a curtain because the shower head would spray onto the shower door and flood the bathroom itself (the shower door seal wasn't 100%)

The room was very big being a suite. The hotel is quite opulent in a very good traditional style. Breakfast had good buffet choices including fish. Also various egg dishes cooked to order. The hotel is in a good position and only about a ten minute walk from Old Town.

Stayed for three nights in July 2024 as part of a trip around eastern Europe. Wonderful welcome received from reception staff who remained friendly and informative throughout our stay and would politely field any questions asked. Our room, on the third floor, was very large with an entrance hall, two full length windows and fantastic air conditioning. The room included a large, comfortable bed, ample storage, a safe, complimentary water, tea and coffee and a good sized fridge. There is a Carrefour mini market 3 minutes-walk away. The room was impeccably cleaned daily. Excellent free Wi-Fi was also included. The location is great, situated on the main through road and just a short walk from the Old Town with lots of varied restaurants, bars and shops in the surrounding neighbourhood. Access to the hotel spa was also included and a very welcome break after long days in the summer heat. The breakfast buffet was first class - varied and substantial and enjoyed in a relaxed atmosphere. I have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending. A great value hotel in a wonderful location.

The people that are working there.everyone will give you the answer to your question with a smile on their faces. Especially what made my day was the woman working across from the dining room where you can purchase coffee and cake. When we asked if we can get some milk for our room to make coffee she gave us a small metal container with hot milk on a plate with a napkin under it and all this with a big smile 😊. This says a lot about the hotel and I travel a lot. Excellent Breakfast !!! If hotels had a Michelin rating this hotel should definitely get one or two. Thank You 🙏 Hope to be back soon.

Excellent location in the city centre, not too far from the old town, major tourist spots and metro, Friendly and helpful staff, large, very comfortable and spotlessly clean room, high quality breakfast. Highly recommended, and will happily stay there again. Didn't use the spa, gym or sauna, but it was nice that the reception staff made it clear that the facilities were available for free on checking in,

An elegant hotel, in an impressive old building. Excellent, central location, within walking distance of the old town, Museum of Art and Athenaeum. Clean, comfortable room. Friendly staff. Good menu options at the Bistro.

Personal and warm attitude, willingness to offer help in an honest way. Extraordinary dedication. Loving attitude and listening from each and every one of the staff at the hotel, the reception staff, the bell boy, the chambermaid, the maintenance staff, the breakfast staff, the hotel chef. We have no doubt that what makes the hotel successful and special is the dedicated hotel staff. The hotel staff takes care of cleanliness and order. Extremely clean dining room, impressive and neatly arranged entrance lobby. The staff is always smiling, patient and attentive, responding quickly and professionally. Location is in the center of everything. Can walk to major site of interests. The staff are all very friendly and attentive. Michael at the reception welcomed us warmly when we arrived very early in the morning and gave us good option for early check-in with minimal fee. Breakfast is with good variety and with attentive and good staff service too. Rooms are huge, clean and elegantly decorated. We loved our stay so much that we booked our stay with them when returning from Transylvania 3 days after. This hotel is highly recommended to anybody travelling to Bucharest.
